It's warm again today and there's no wind!
That's because you sent it to us! We've got gusts over 30mph and I'm gonna say closer to 45 because the poor camper is shaking on it's cinder blocks! Nothing getting done outside today since I've gotta sit on my arse to keep "home" from blowing away! :gig

Sticks nose back in book...
I hope you've got some big rocks in your pockets! Are you still on Vol 1? I just started it myself...

 Plenty of rocks in my pockets.

I couldn't make up my mind (totally normal) on which book to start with so I have 1, 3 and 10 in here with me, all for specific reasons. ;)

1...Planting by the Signs

3...Hide Tanning & Ginseng

10...Gourd Art

Cool. This photocopied version I downloaded is readable, but it's tiring on the eyes after a while. Funny how I can sit and look at this forum all day and my eyes are fine, but reading this... :p

Wow, dude, you're right. That's a "strainful" read.

I always joked with my friends in the event of an imminent societal breakdown, we need to hit the library to get the volumes I don't already have....

I gave up trying to read any more today... I'll have to read in the morning when my eyes are fresh. I also probably need a new prescription for my glasses. It's been a few years! :/

I much prefer an actual book. I just can't do paperbacks, the print is so tiny. Can't afford new hardbacks, so whenever I am able to get to a thrift store I stock up and take them the ones I've already read. I've been jonesin' for a couple "new" novels! :D

I'm with you. We were in NC over the weekend and the wife visited a bookstore. I have three brand new (still shrink-wrapped) Civil War history books that cost her $5.

With the winter weather tomorrow, I see a fire and a pot of coffee in my morning

And a good book?

Not to rub it in, but we are expecting 80+ degrees tomorrow, so I'm "planning" to get some work done on the much talked about chicken yard. I have to get off my hiney and get 'er done so I can bring in my 2nd shift of layers.
