I love books too. It was bad news when Borders was going out of business... we went in there just about every weekend and ended up spending about 100.00 every week. I have so many books to read right now that if I were sick for a month I probably wouldn't get through them all!

I've actually been looking for someone in the area to do that with. In Hawai'i I had several friends and we exchanged books regularly. It was wonderful!

Ah, Borders. I used to go through their discount section once month and buy books to build DS#2's school reference library. You'd think that, between hqueen13 and I, we would've kept them afloat!

I was sorting through paperwork the other day and came across the receipt for my last eye exam - in 2008!! :ep DH told me we should make an appointment, because it had been a couple years now and my script has obviously changed (fill in old age joke here!), but 4 years?!! Guess I better start hunting for an eye doctor :/

SSD - After reading that it had been 4 years since your last new script, I realized it's been 5 yrs for me! No wonder I can't read very long! I also noticed that I sit with my head tipped back to read everything on the computer through the bifocal part of my lenses. :/

Too true! :/

We had the heat turned off and windows open Tuesday only to have to shut everything back up by Thursday and turn the heat back on, atleast at night. My aunt, who has lived here in AR for 30+ years said this has been the warmest winter here since 1980. :hide <<<just in case!

Haha, SSDreamin, I hear that! It was kinda a good thing when they finally closed, I couldn't go in there and spend $100.00 anymore!! By the time they closed we were saving more than the amount that we spent :p But we still spent a lot!!

I have an eye appointment in a week or so, which is good. My eye doc was nice and sent me a post card as a reminder! How helpful of them!! I have insurance I might as well use it for something :p
But then I have an appointment with a new dental doctor to look at getting an implant (SO NOT excited about that...) and a follow up with my knee doc in May. Wheee fun times!
