Times have sure changed (old guy rant). Back in the day, on a day like this, young kids would go door to door shoveling snow. Other than the old guys on our street, I have seen no one. I know there are a bunch of middle school kids in the apartment complex across the way. A day like this would have put a couple hundred dollars in your pocket. Big money back then.

I rode shotgun with my grandfather starting at 3 am. While he plowed the lots, I cleared the doorways, gas pump islands, etc. After we finished his normal route, he'd have a list of "little old lady" places too small for his Scout. I would get home at supper time, exhausted, but with a full pocket. Great times, I miss him

my brothers used to do that. I'd have my kids do that if we lived in town.

The day has came, although still a bit uncertain, I got oreo eating out of my hand 👍 yep cow licks are nasty. But who knew... Animals, like animal crackers? It kind of makes sense when you stop and think about it 🤣

Bessy is still not sure if she likes animal crackers or not. But time is on my side ☺️
