That is a nice looking bill. Black is a dominant color. Throw in the white banging and chances are you will get more Oreo cattle. I’ve seen this even in feral hogs. Obviously a Hampshire pig or two or three got loose because there is a herd of Oreo banded wild hogs in the Sabine River area near the town of Mineola.

That protruding block of bone is called the poll. In horned cattle, that is where the horns grow from. Cattle without horns are called polled cattle

Good morning y’all! High of 73F today, rainy this evening and plunging below freezing tomorrow night. This is yo-yo weather. Up, down, up, down! Getting things done here at the Groveton house. I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Or more specifically, I can NOT see light through the walls of my bedroom. Making progress.

@Grandmas Porch thinking about you. I’ll be glad when you check in and you and your husband are moved in to your new house.

I wish I had news to report but unfortunately I have caught a nasty head cold. The kids are good, Gianna isn't sick, just me. Wha whaa Whaaaaaaaaaa. Slept a good half hour last night because of it. Hopefully more exciting news to come.
we are all battling the same head colds here--literally from the neck up. Seems to last about 7 days. Hopefully you can get some rest, push the fluids :)

I still haven’t got my motor running. Yesterday at 6 AM I was rolling out the ceiling with Kilz. I worked myself stupid, I was so tired. This morning I barely got a cup of coffee, shower and dressed by the time Chris got here. LOL There was so much drywall patching to do, so much damage to fix, so many “didn’t do it right to start with” corrections to do, so many little things to do before moving on to the next step. It’s looking like we will have to come back Monday to finish up. Even half done, what a difference! I’ve drained the coffee pot, need to get some gumption from somewhere and get to work. Plenty of painting to do. At least what I do, let’s him do the bigger things and saving him a lot of time.

don't forget some self-care. No sense in burning yourself out on painting. You've got boxes and furniture to move when your painting and such is done. :hugs

Bizarre dream last night. I dreamt I was back working in the grocery store from my youth. I was with many of my former coworkers, but we were all current age. Mind you, the store is still in business and is very nice (updated/expanded decades ago).

I dreamt the place was in the old configuration and completely trashed. Stuff like rust in the dairy display cases which had standing water in them, very little grocery product out on the shelves despite ample stock in the back, and the stockroom looking like cases of stuff just exploded.

In my dream, I spent 2 hours just cleaning up in the stock room to get it passable. Then got the dairy cases presentable enough to put out milk.

Woke up very disoriented.

wow that is a strange one. That's the kind that are tempting to "interpret"
