I finally finished my coffee and need to get up and get moving. Problem is, I'm bored. I don't want to unpack more boxes, I have enough unpacked to manage. I've been sick and recuperating for the last couple of weeks and I'm bored with that too. I need to paint the end of the house, it keeps raining. Maybe I'll put that on my project list for next week. That would take awhile and occupy me for days. LOL Last thing I did outside was to drag up some horse panels to enlarge Trip and Carson's pen, then I got real sick and did nothing. I need to do their pen. Maybe Friday. Tomorrow morning I have to be in Tyler at 9:20 to get my knees examined, a 3 hour drive. That won't be any fun either. Not to mention what Diesel fuel does to my credit card. I must be feeling a LOT better, I am complaining! :gig:gig

I honestly try to not get tin cans at all and just can stuff myself. Like I don’t buy my pasta sauce in cans but jars so I can reuse them but if I really want to do something I might make an exception. I do miss having a Martin house.

we normally don't buy much premade anything for tomatoes because we grow them and can them here in glass, yes, i agree with you there. :) Mom reacts to so many of the commercial tomato or sauces that are cannned that we don't even buy them that much any more - the only one we know she doesn't react to now are the 6oz tomato paste cans of a few commercial brands. a few years ago we bought a can of diced tomatoes and that is all i thought was in them, but there was some other additive to them that had both of us reacting. luckily after freezing i was able to eat some of it but Mom could not tolerate it at all.

martins are so much fun to watch fly. they visit us some days.

With all the rain y'all in Texas sent us. Cattle went on a hay binge, I think they might be hay drunk. Reminds me of drunkards hanging around the bar. But just look at all that pasture green y'all in Texas caused, by sending us your thunder storms 👍

My "puppy fever" has very much dissipated these last few days. The tiny babes got flush, which in turn means I have flush. Now we are all miserable. 😫
One of the few cases where you should go for the most aggressive rx treatment immediately. Many mommas say nursing with thrush is more painful than childbirth. (I agree!)
