I still remember Mom dragging me inside from where I was eating strawberries in the garden. I remember the sky getting dark. All the news coverage on all 3 channels.

That's a beautiful picture! I'm having my coffee and feel the calm just looking at it. That eruption was so unexpected.😔

Coffee. Yum. My batteries are low -- staying home to recharge. ;) :old

DS truck off line, again! Told him to take mine and go get that job done!!! He had to be brought home on a car trailer yesterday, shortly after leaving.

Gonna be 90s today! I see AC being used. 🤔

Whelp, mix up on the registration for the community yard/garage sale weekend. It's happening this weekend, we both thought the registration deadline was today. No worries, has been pouring rain all morning and rain on and off all weekend.

we had intended to put stuff in the driveway to keep the garage snoopers out of the garage (people casing your place). Last year, I had to physically step in front of two dudes politely, but firmly reiterating my wife's statement that nothing inside the garage was for sale. Thankfully the generator and some other stuff was covered with a sheet
