Or just ignore the peanut butter and eat the relatives

i've not ever seen that. i guess i have that to be thankful for... :) i have seen them eat the heads (brainz, yummy brainz!) but not the whole mouse. normally they're after the peanut butter (because i'm usually trapping in the winter when the fat stores are running low).

Good morning. A cool start today. 60 for the low a few days ago and again Sat morn. 40 this morn 26 tomorrow 20 Wed morn. If the garden wasn't already kaput it would be now. I have to turn the heater in the camper, that I'm not staying in at the moment so my camper tomatoes keep going, or bring them in the house with a 3 and 5 yr old.

Rain this morning. Clearing frig seemed like good idea, so 2 gal milk in pot to make cheese today, half gal to ckns, down to manageable 2 gal. I'll use some in a quiche this afternoon, cause more comes in everyday, plus eggs are stacking up. Big pot veg beef soup going -- leftover roast. Thinking make some bread too, almost none in house. Bread machine makes it easy. 😄

Sun out now, more rain tonight....but now I'm in cooking!!! I'll wander out while things are on simmer a while....

There is a place for a propane heater, need to get one.
The Mr. Buddy's with a 30lb (camper trailer size) can make a great short term fix. I've used one in the horse trailer and had to crack the door that goes to the back on a 28 degree night. You can get a 4', 6' up to 12' adapter hose.
