...ALWAYS something.

so true, every time i'm going up and down the ladders the past month i'm finding yet more projects that need to be done. the worst of them i'm having to deal with asap, but some will have to wait until next summer to completely finish and get up to par.

in the meantime a can of spray foam sealer is going to have to be good enough.

Thanks for the coffee @CLSranch im on my second cup. Better make some more for the rest of the Coffee Crew. LOL
PT this morning. Then errands to run. Hope I don’t play out before I get them all done. Take library books back. Take paint supplies back to Home Depot and get two 10’x1”x12” boards for making shelves in small utility room. Take 2 mirrors back to Walmart. Before knee replacement surgery I couldn’t walk around on those concrete floors for very long and usually had to go home before I made all my stops. Oh, need to go to Tractor Supply for three 50# bags of dog food, feed store for 12 50# bag of feed. Y’all don’t worry, I’ll have Chris unload it. That will hold me for a month.

A lot of those places have the electric wheel chairs for a REASON. It's for the customers. Even I've used them. I think it had something to do with a bike, 85mph and my head.

I thought it was funny when the old Wal-Mart greeter suggested I use one. But I was in worse shape than him.

Good morning, I finally made it. It’s been a busy 3 hours. We are off grid this morning, haha power went out at 5am but no problem here. I am sitting in my rocker by the wood stove drinking coffee in the dark. It’s 7:15 now and the sun should be peeking up soon. It takes a while to load a pic, we have one bar on our phones.
I love my stove top drip coffee pot, I can break it and it always works.
Have a good day all,

I had to use one once when I injured my knee and was on crutches with a knee brace. I wasn't supposed to be walking and couldn't explain what I needed well enough.

I'd been on it maybe 5 minutes when I got some nasty remarks of how I didn't need it because I was young. Was probably about 28 at the time. This really fat woman wanted it because she didn't want to walk. Hitting her with a crutch was tempting but hubby told her off in a typical Navy manner.

I don't use unless needed and I don't begrudge people who need them. I did fetch one of them back into the grocery store from the parking lot a few weeks ago because some jerk left it half in the middle of the parking aisle. Just in time as an older lady was looking for one for her very elderly mother.

Going to ramble a moment. Mom very occasionally needs to use one. She was told by the doctor to use one in the store after her hip replacement because she wasn't supposed to be walking as long as she does in the stores. She's had constant recurring pain in that hip and they've been trying to figure out the problem. Sent her to Phys Therapy and they refused to treat her because they thought they'd make things worse. They did spot the problem the doctor missed. Her leg is 2 inches shorter on that side after having both a hip replaced and the knee replaced twice. Went back to doctor who measured and ordered shoes for her. In the meantime she had the writ for lift size and took a pair of shoes to the cobbler who added it to the bottom of the one. Pain has been going away. She found out that the cobbler actually wanted a prescription to do it when she talked to him before her appointment. I told her it was to protect him from idiots. He was impressed on how well it helped improve her walk when she wore the shoes out.

Some people put baking powder in them? I don't even buy the fluffy ones at the store as they don't work right.
