The Porch
Super Self-Sufficient
AND some say my dogs are scary
Ya, well above the age of 11, [in my house anyway] you had better figure out how to get up and get on with your responsibilities cuz the school of hard knocks in the real world doesnt up up with being late.Good Morning All!! COFFEE IS MADE and it's hot just remember if you finish the pot turn the maker off. It's currently 4:08AM where I am, been up since 2:30AM, took youngest pup out to go potty as was walking out kitchen door got coffee brewing came back in put FH lunch together, coffee was done by the time I finished that so got me a cup (still working on that) went to computer room feed the pup breakfast played a couple games on the computer now pup is asleep in my chair in family room (which is directly off computer room) next to the 2nd oldest dog we have. It's currently only 27 here at this time-BRRRRR. FH alarm goin off but that doesn't mean he'll get right up (take him another 30-45 minutes OR EVEN LONGER to get out of the bed). Once FH leaves for work I'm thinking about laying down but haven't decided yet.
My eldest cooked a fantastic lunch. A breaded chicken entree with roasted broccoli and potatoes. Plus an apple crumb pie.thats Fantastic, I am so happy for you all!

She has come a long way from chicken fingers and fries. She and her husband are busy professionals, so they are cheating in meal prep with Hello Fresh ingredient delivery service. While it's a bit pricy, it's forcing them to try new foods. Plus, the meals they like, they keep the recipes. She found out she likes cous-cous and crackers and brie. She actually liked some salmon until her brain remembered it was fish and she stopped eating it.OH! SCORE!!! I bet she was just so proud to make that for her Mamma and Pappa!
He does but I still have to force him out of bed during the work week by keep going in there and telling him what time it is and how late he's going to be if he doesn't get up very soon!!! He blames it on his age (mid 50s) and how he doesn't sleep good at night because he's so crowded. Not my fault the dogs wait til we are asleep to get on the bed and cuddle with us (hog the bed more like it is what they do!!!!)your FH is a grown man, and I bet he knows how it works.
WoodmizerWhat brand of mill do you have?
I agree. The last half hour of interrupted sleep (with snooze) puts me in a foul mood! They say if your setting your alarm earlier to make up for hitting snooze, you get poor sleep and that makes you more tired and want to hit the snooze button again. "They" say instead of hitting the snooze (if it's a regular event) to set your alarm later. The 30 mins-hr of snoozing is interrupted sleep, therefore making you tired vs 30 mins of good sleep.
