Good Morning ladies and gentlemen! Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday so far.
Strange weather for sure, for sure especially for Feb in VA. @Mini Horses what is your temp going to be on Thursday? Mine is going to be around 80. My overnight was between 45-48 here.
@tortoise SHARE and SEND THE STORM WITH US OVER HERE IN VIRGINIA (PLEASE). I'm so tired of FH complaining that there was NO snow days this year. Yup, I understand that if we get a bad storm this late it will hurt the trees and flowers but doggone it, it's not good when there is no snow days for FH.
BTW- coffee is hot and ready but I'm sad to report that there's only about 1/2 pot remaining and I have only had 1 cup so far.

Home again is under consideration . Just getting first cup and I'll get my thinking in gear. Will check status of kids and then decide. Meantime, bottle warming for babe...and need to go upstairs to check on chicks. They're housed in upstairs bathroom. Hey, no one else uses it.

The storm the next 48 hours is way to our north. Just rain here so far predicted.

On a side note, the downside of being 800 miles from the wife's family. Her daddy is in the hospital (hopefully just a pacemaker adjustment needed all tests so far clear), but we can't just pick up and drive over to the hospital.

Wife can't fly, can't drive herself. She's climbing the walls.

Last night I was outside and I thought I heard a scream, it was a silly mocking bird . Sparrows arrived last week, robins today and apparently mocking birds yesterday.

I moved baby chickennnnns out of their brooder tub and into the barn brooder room yesterday afternoon. Moma bear, my wife's rottweiler went over to the brooder tub, looked inside and nosed the unplugged heat lamp. Then he looked at me like where did the baby chickens go?

I told Farm Babe, that momma bear is lonely now without any baby chickens to momma. She said she was gonna pick up more baby chicks today. Farm life, time sure does fly in earth, I'm just enjoying the ride.

One small cup. Got home and everything is so peaceful. Stopped by FFH and they had sold all the chicks. Pixie was all wrapped up because it is freezing cold because of the wind but I brought her with me to see chick-chicks.

Little snow once made in back from airport but clear now. It sure feels like 14. Got so upset on my way toairport. Hub tells me that he was going to leave me his bank card so I could pay for his storage. All hell broke loose inside. But I held it and timed it right. 3 minutes to get to airport, I said, Alexa, pause the music. Then continued, I am not keeping your card because I am not paying anything. That is your responsibility and for the past years you have doing nothing but sh...t. i am not done....( because he tried to interrupt) every time you say that you are leaving and have done nothing but excuses that need time to get your sh....t together. I am not giving you a lifetime for that. I gave you my life unto your hands under a Godly commitment and you ruined it. No more. I can leave if I want to but I will let the property get taken and live on the streets but I am done waiting. (As I am parking at terminal). Alexa, resume my music.
He answered nothing. As he was closing the door, I said, have a safe trip and God be with you and I will see you around the 7th or 8th of March.
Never said any other word besides thanks. Not even happy Birthday. I feel like the chewy cat... I feel so accomplished!

Lots of work for me to do and really hoping for no heavy snow. I have no clue how to use the snow plow on the little Husqvarna
I was going to start today a lot of gathering and throwing stuff away but, it's my birthday, so I am gonna party like it's my birthday, lol going to just sit all dressed up with make up right here and just watch TV. Now I do wish I was in the city so I could order food and have it delivered,lol

But I made cheese stuffed manicotti yesterday and I love me some Italian food,lol

I wish I could do that but he just told me he's not even on the list to go out of town next week but at least the dogs will eat and I won't have to put "special treats (eggs, bacon, hamburger or anything else they don't get on a normal basis)" in with their food at night.
