Good Morning everyone! Coffee is hot and ready
Happy Easter Sunday everyone!!!! Hope everyone has a beautiful day with friends and family!!!
I hope you don’t get bad news on your Beagle. Hopefully it’s something that can be treated and restore him back to good health.
He's on 3 (1 anti-cough, 1 steroid, 1 antibiotic) different meds seeing how he has some sort of bacterial infection going on in his throat. He's currently sort of up with me and the pup (Savage) but hopefully both are snoozing right now. I guess it doesn't matter if it's a pet or an actual human when they get sick they want their Mommy seeing how he was being very tight to me. It was a good sign that he didn't have a fever, his lungs was clear and his heart rate was good. While we was there the vet did an anal gland expression "butt cleaning" on him which we didn't even ask for them to do then charged us (we have the PET DESK app which we earn points on every time we have to take one of the dogs to the vet so we didn't really have to pay for that "butt cleaning"). FH says he's going to get up at 6, get the smoker going then help me get the meat prepped so let's see if he does that. It only takes around 4 hours for SMOKED MEATLOAF. I'm actually hoping he does get up that early so we can get other stuff accomplished also.
As I sit here drinking my coffee and writing this entry I'm still in my night clothes (T shirt and pajama pants) and I told FH last night that I am NOT going to get ready (dressed in a nice outfit) until just around an hour and half before we leave so that way it's less risk of me getting something on it.

Thanks for the coffee. I had alarm set for 6, but Carson (half Great Dane and half Labrador) got me up before 5. I let him out then discovered he had ate a corn cob out of the trash….. glad he got me up, probably went outside to celebrate explosive diarrhea.

I’m glad your Beagle will be ok. Dogs are out special pets and wrap around our hearts. I know you were worried and this must be a huge relief.

Slept well. Up to overcast but that has changed to sunshine. 🤩 After several days of cold rain, sun is a welcome gift. I'm watching goats happily graze, having my morning coffee and wake up routine. Chores soon. Just a little late this morning. It's still pretty wet out as rains were still lightly here until 4-5am.

Grow grass, grow!! Less hay needed 😋

Happy Easter everyone!

Yes, it was a huge relief. After just a couple doses of antibiotics and steroids he's back to his old self.
I apologize for not having coffee hot and ready this AM I was dealing with a headache which went away a couple hours ago.
