Can't believe -- I woke to frost! Sure it was on news and weather but, I was outside on tractor and to bed early. Wasn't paying attention. So I have both flannel lined jeans and shorts in laundry stack. I mean it's 85 to 30 in a week

That could be the most news to worry with -- alas, more shootings in news. Bad. They did charge mother of 6 yr old who shot teacher, locally near me, with endangerment, loaded gun unsecured, etc, with more technical terms than this.


Just having morning coffee and breakfast in a few.

It will warm & chores will happen. Feed, milk, etc

What’s so broken in our society that people have to go shooting up innocent people and children?

I'm pawpaw again \o/ son and daughter in law adopted 7 year old girl, a couple months again. I've been slowly gaining her trust, she lives 2 1/2 hours away so I've only met her a hand full of times. She's awesome and doing very well, all things considering.

Over Easter, she called me pawpaw for the first time and gave me a big hug and told me she loved me I didn't consider it official till she called me pawpaw.

After Easter supper, I took the granddaughter to the neighbors to see baby goats. Oh boy, they liked them, A LOT

Being called Pawpaw for the first time was about the best Easter gift you could ever ask for. How wonderful.

I took Reina’s 4 month pictures this afternoon. She is shedding out that dead hair and there she is, a golden palomino!!

First day I brought her home. December 7, 2022

Today April 11, 2023, four months later. Wow! I knew there was a beautiful horse in her.

Next week I’m going to work at putting up my 60’ round pen. I’ll start working her in the pen.

Coffee is ready! Today I work on chicken tractor. Hopefully I can get it finished today and can move most of the Dirty Birdies into it.
