Good Evening all!
Well, I had my appointment with the allergist this AM. Come to find out I'm not allergic to strawberries after all but am allergic to the natural mold in the ground and NOT grass. She did prescribe me an ointment I can rub on inflamed spots that still bothers after a hot shower but I have to wear socks, sneakers and long pants (less skin showing less irritation). Oh yeah she also prescribed me an inhaler says I have a touch of asthma.
FH is back on night shifts this week but he has been doing really good at picking out RUSTIC decor for our wedding. He recently got us a guest book, ring box and card box. The first pic is going to be OUR cake topper (found it on Amazon just like that with our initials).
We didn't set the pool up last weekend seeing how we didn't get the sand but we're getting a NEW (slightly used) PIT BOSS Smoker which will be here on July 31 but we are keeping our other one too!

Thanks for the coffee. 56 degrees! I won’t see that until probably October. It’s hot, dry, no rain, hay prices have hit the moon and climbing. I scored 4x5 round bales for $65, every where else hay is $80-$150!! Sheep are dry lotted so they don’t kill the grass and I may have waited a little late for that. I may have some bare spots when rains do come. Sheep are not happy. I put guard dogs in front yard around noon so they can go under the front porch to stay cool. Don’t see them again until 5:30 or 6. Temps staying in high 90’s to over 100. Heat index in 100+ teens. Watering sheep 3-4 times a day. Heat and humidity are awful.
Yes and you all in Texas do have a big heart, don't you? Remember... sharing is caring 😂

I'm fixing on bush hogging the lower pasture, it's awful looking, the cattle have grazed that pasture good and left weeds that are tall now. The upper pasture is back to green from brown with very little weeds but the cattle are working on mowing it even as I type this. I still have the 1 acre finishing yard that's got good belly high grass that I'm holding back just in case. But if it gets that bad, I have hay that I will also feed, because one acre of belly tall grass won't last long.

I'm sure I made the right decision to not have any of the pastures cut for hay earlier this summer. When it was dry they grazed the lower pasture. Now that we got some rain theu are grazing the upper pasture. I like it when things work out.

I'm inside now seeing how it's too hot to finish mowing but at least I have the front done. It took a while seeing how I had to wait for FH to get home because he had to put the tire back on, currently have it rigged on with a pair of channel locks - BUSH FIX as it is called on "Gold Rush".

My neighbor and I worked sawing up some timber on my sawmill this afternoon.

This 12 foot long big nasty wild black cherry butt log was butt ugly on the outside but absolutely beautiful on the inside. It's going to become a live edge table trestle table with live edges bench seats all with a bar top finish. I was able to get 3 2 inch thick live edge bookmatched sets 36 inches wide (2 at 18 inches wide) plus assorted 2 inch thick lumber. To build a nice table.

Note to self...
Don't let ugly on the outside prevent you from discovering beauty on the inside.

I hope everyone had a blessed day. The days in earth sure go by quick anymore, where does the time go?

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸
