It’s hot, dry, no rain, hay prices have hit the moon and climbing. I scored 4x5 round bales for $65, every where else hay is $80-$150!! Sheep are dry lotted so they don’t kill the grass and I may have waited a little late for that. I may have some bare spots when rains do come. Sheep are not happy. I put guard dogs in front yard around noon so they can go under the front porch to stay cool. Don’t see them again until 5:30 or 6. Temps staying in high 90’s to over 100. Heat index in 100+ teens. Watering sheep 3-4 times a day. Heat and humidity are awful.
