I left early and got the supply shopping done, while I was gone DH stacked all that wood that we split and then he built braces to support the canning shelves middles,,
I splurged and got a loaf of store bought sourdough and made us grilled cheese and tomato soup at 2pm,, it was very filling we didnt need any dinner.
So,,, then,, it will be outside day this morning I guess,, ,and after 1pm will be inside chores, I really want to finish this week off with everything on the weeks list is marked off. Next week will have plenty of its own, issues.

I could use someone's coffee and friendship.

I plummeted towards the depths of depression yesterday while out in the kitchen prepping tomatoes for drying. It was weird to feel myself falling. So I stopped what I was doing, literally, and went to bed. Closed the blinds, had a young pup as a foot warmer, and slept for 3 hours. What a relief that was!

The Dowager Countess: “Surely, there must be something you can put your mind to.”
Lady Edith: “Like what, gardening?”
The Dowager Countess: “Well, no, you can’t be as desperate as that.”

her quote about the Italian men got me laughing quite hard when it came by. we've probably watched that series a half dozen times.

After searching around locally for cabbage to ferment for kraut. Farmbabe ended up ording 40 lbs each green and red from AS. I've not fermented red cabbage for kraut before. But I suspect it shouldn't be any different than green cabbage 🤷‍♂️

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸
If I remember correctly, red cabbage kraut can be a little sweeter by default?
