Like @Mini Horses , I believe, my environments involved animal wastes of varying types, nasty weeds, and other things to damage feet. Old habits die hard

i found out that jumping off the back end of a pickup will still make a nail go through the bottom of even work boots... we sawed off the board and took it and the nail through my foot to the ER where they cut it off. luckily no really permanent damage was done but i did get a lot of questions in the ER waiting room...

crocs will not survive hard sticks and other pokey things, but they are comfortable and can be bleached and soaked without damage. i do that a few times a year for the gardening ones and the mud ones.

for around inside the house we don't normally wear shoes at all. socks almost all the time. very rare to go without socks (as i can't stand the feel of sticky feet on the floor either). my feet sweat too much. can't cut them off... or at least i don't want to...

If it is shoes we are truly talking about--- this is it , my shoe list, I am sick of buying throw away shoes that ruin your feet -- and yes, I wear my Romeo's to church
black irrigation boots and water proof slip on yard/garden/coop poop shoes.
I love my wolverines, I wear them in the hot months, used gorilla glue on the toes , the rubber end was detaching—









buy once and be done!

ON with the day, coops done , dishes done, fed the sour dough, BK done, laundry going, tomatoes picked, and it is only 7:15,,, much more fun to come,,,, have a great day

If FH is going to change into shorts, tank top and SLIDES after pics why can't I wear comfy CROCS?

Ya know,,, If you are comfortable with your choices and are happy, it is not my business what you choose.
As I would tell my 4 grown age 48 to 36 adult kids-- you are a grown @$$ adult ,, do what ever it is you choose, but own it,,
