Fruitcake. Some love it, others despise it. I like to buy just a little one this time of the year. I like it, and it brings back fond memories of my mom and grandmother who loved it.

What say you?
I like fruitcake. My Grandmother and my Mother both loved it. My Great Grandmother made her own and soaked it in whiskey.

I am fortunate enough to live close to a location of a Collin Street Bakery. They have been in business since 1896 in Corsicana Texas. There are now other locations and there is one in Lindale. Thanks for the reminder, I need to go get a fruitcake. I got one for my mom every year.

We are hot in the trail to getting the proper permits to bring in the food trailer.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS, THEY ARE NUMEROUS!

Each person is unique and has their own ways to offer support. My wife and I were talking this afternoon, I said I can't just sit here and not do anything. This is so close to home literally less than 2 hours drive away. We live on a hill with a unobstructed view to the east south and west. I literally watched the stroms from my back yard to the south east. I never in my life seen so much lightening, it looked almost like it was daylight to the south east but it wasn't. It was pitch black dark night time.

Even if I just drive in and hug a few people or cry with a few people, I'll know what they really need and can load up and come back, with what they need. We also talked about bringing a family home to stay with us for a while, there are so many homeless families. I need no permit for these things. Nor do I need a permit to throw my chainsaw a can of two cycle and a few sharp chains in the back of farm truck. Take a ride, find someone who needs help and offer to help either.

we sponsor 9 childern from all over the world via monthly donations, through 4 different organizations. But what has happen with the tornados, is so close to home. It's not about money, it's about loving your neighbor.

I hope I explained this well enough for you to understand. I'm not very good with written words. I'm a much better verbally, face to face.

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸
You do just fine with written words. You wrote what's on your heart.

Good morning y'all. Coffee is ready. Got to take my car to town this morning, to Auto Zone to read the codes and get a part number. A sensor that regulates the fuel mix is wonky and the car is chugging. When I get my granddaughters on Friday, I'll exchange vehicles with my DD, because the carseats and kid stuff is in their van. DSIL is going to fix the car, but needs to order the part early to make sure he gets it by the time he gets the car.

Morning. Just another day of work in front of the computer for me. DD15 has her 2nd behind the wheel lesson, snow covered country roads should be a challenge for her. I need a hot bath to soak my sore shoulders BUT it wont happen today. We have the last of the wood to split and stack over the next 2 days since it will be in the 40s and 50s.
