Couple pics of tank. I bought him a large collar Monday evening, adjusted it as small as it would allow, he could slip it easy. This morning it fits him enough that he can't slip it. I notice no difference in him, but his collar tells me he has grown a lot in the 5 days I've had him.

Going to town, truck rides puts him to sleep.

Playing fetch, he brought the coffee can lid back to me twice in a row, probably a fluke.

Trying to figure out my verbal and hand gesture command. Tank come and finger snap with my finger pointed down in front of me .

Please say some prayers for the people in the panhandle area of Texas and into Oklahoma... the Smokehouse Creek Wildfire has devastated over 1 MILLION acres of land... burnt untold number of buildings... 2 people died and no one has any idea of the number of cattle lost already.
It is maybe 15 % contained... absolutely horrendous destruction.... Largest ever recorded wild fire in Texas state history. This is going to push beef prices even higher, and more scarcity.... 75% of all cattle raised in Texas are raised in the western part.... Town of Canadian was surrounded and alot of it burned... cause not determined but there has been lightning and quite a bit of static electricity due to weather conditions... thoughts are it was just like a spontaneous combustion with the weather conditions..
And heard Amarillo (right near it) got something like 4 inches of snow last night????

Since my DD didn't come thru after saying she'd help me, I paid my DGD to help me dig out the sewing room. We pulled everything out but the furniture. Vacuumed and dusted, and then she organized alot! I was helping too, but she took the lead very nicely. Sorted way too much fabric. Sadly I know where more is...Miss S said Grammy - you've got enough fabric for 80 years. She's right.

I am missing some sewing stuff from our move. I have tons of thread from Mother when she moved in 2019 to the retirement center. Its not in my room, which means its downstairs in the shop. Deep sigh...Maybe I'll find it in a few years.

It was worth the $60 I paid her to help me. What a great girl (18) she is. I do love how she turned out. Way better than her mother at that age!!

WE belong to the club. Yeah, I could sew forever & have leftovers! 😞 Then, moms stash added to it. I used to sew a lot. Now, rarely. Would love to get back into it for a "winter" thing. But I don't need all the clothes now, kids & grands grown -- so?? I've considered making children's clothes and donating somewhere. 🤷 Just to use it all up😁
