Good morning everyone!

Have job work today -- then a day home tomorrow for my garden. Yah!! Moved a job to Sat, when it's gonna rain again-- most all day!-- so I could have a good weather day here. Worth much more to me than their $$. Want to finish planting. Otherwise there won't be a canning season

I keep saying "retire" but then I'd have a problem with what to do in rainy season.

i never seem to have any problem keeping busy and having fun in the off season here. i really don't mind having a good excuse to stay in and read a book and drink hot chocolate.

I got my car out yesterday morning, it’s parked at church. Storm started at 1:30PM and stopped around 9 last night. I need sunshine.

We got so much rain the higher parts of the yard were almost submerged. Didn’t have to water animals though!

Had a not muscovy mom hatch babies. How do I know this? When I opened the door she rushed out leaving her nest of five still-wobbling ducklings. When they’re walking I’m moving them to the duck pen, this year I closed off the back part of my coop. And put several extra little shelters along with the small shed in there. Maybe a Muscovy momma will take pity and care for these babies, their mom sure isn’t gotta love muscovies.

just got second cup...almost through checking everyone. Chores are done. Time to pull things together for today's list. 1. Garden planting, 2. Weanling pasture fence. Gonna hang this load of clothes that just finished before those . Check back later!

Pup's new thing... pick up a cicada in his mouth. The cicada flaps it's wings sounds like a vibrator. FB says that's just gross and has me take it out of tank's mouth and toss outside, pup loves it though.
