Mr. I snuck out of the pasture, on this day last year and ran around the farm all night.

I've got my 👁️ on him, just in case he wants to 2.0.

I finished painting the inside of my friend’s house. She has had so much fun, proud of our accomplishments and their new to them house looks so nice.

Now back to work on the farm. Let this be a lesson to me-never take 2 weeks off.

Well, we do as we need to do. Besides, at least one of those weeks off was spent playing in hog guts! :hidesuch fun!!!! 😵‍💫

This week -- take a slow day first, to commune with animals. Then you can hussle. The work will wait patiently 😄

I've had breakfast, gone for parts, home to chores, now taking break for a few. Hear a second mouse & waiting for him to find the trap so I can dump him like his brethren I just did! 😖 Cold nights - they want inside.

The week spent playing in hog guts was an additional week! So that makes 3! Then company over a 4 day weekend, more off time!

Cotton tails could use a good thinning out around here. But if you ask me... I think tank is more interested in going to his favorite store to get some lovin. Than he is in pointing out and retrieving cotton tails. But he's not had his first taste of floured and fried cotton tail just yet 😋. So there's still hope, I may just be able to change his mind 🤔.

Good Saturday morning,
I was busy Thursday. Gary wanted to split the wood we hauled up. so I pulled out the splitter and got it done. He helped probable more that he should have 🤦‍♀️but we did it. then I got the chicken run all raked.
Yesterday I did some light housework and worked on the Tuesday Bible study for the class I am leading.
today,, well we have hard winds and pounding rain again so I am going to make myself get the floors mopped. I haven't done it in ??? months. I need to pick arugula, and what's left of the Roma tomatoes.
Since 4/15/24 I an down 18lbs. 148.2 My goal is 135. I am only 5'1.

I am keeping up. I have been weepy and a bit emotional, but I am not displaying it. My DSH doesn't need the added stress of worrying about me.

If I get out to the garden I'll take ya some pics. It is still so dark out at 7am
Love you all, ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM I shall be today🤣

We're here for you :hugs this is a very traumatic, sad time. My late DH left from colon cancer and it was a test of your very soul. I think of you and pray for you both. The work you are doing is a release for you, be it ever so tiring... Keep at it. Hug a chicken, it's a needed release of tension and emotion.

I get it. My DH has a myriad of health challenges. I don't want to add to his stress so if I need to 'let it out' I disappear outside for awhile. My pond is a place of peace for me. I hope you have something that brings you peace also.

After 2 weeks down -- 1 just waiting on parts -- it's up and running! :celebrate so today is tractor therapy!! Yep. Dew dries soon and I'm on it 👍 high protein breakfast to keep me going for a while. No job work until Thursday and it's only one long day for this week. May get some things done that needed my tractor to do. Exciting.
