My Anatolians love baby cottontails as snacks.

we got about half a dozen recently born bunnies running around here. hopefully the kitties will get them soon before the weather thins them out. winter will be harsh on them being this young, but a few always manage to survive and come back each year. even if i hunt a dozen of them.

My youngest wanted to go to a local farm that is a local area tradition with everything including corn mazes.

Growing up spending time on the farm, this made me chuckle.

BUT -- it's what those "city folk" need to read -- most importantly, understand! Insurance training teaches a horse is an "attractive nuisance" for their purposes.

Stepping in chicken poop can make you slip & fall, goats jump up in play, yeah stuff happens that we laugh off -- they, sue. 😑 Injury happens.

Like Yellowstone visitors wanting to pet a bison 😖

Chores, coffee, dishwasher running, load of laundry going....in that order. 😁

Enjoying a second cup, looking at list. Still pretty wet out from heavy dew. Chilly in low 40s. Need it to dry before some things can happen. Plenty inside until then. May make a quick run for feed🤔

I posted this on FB. I'm tired. Just darn tired. What will it be like next week?
"I, for one, cannot wait for the elections to be over. Especially the local ones.
Every single commercial is a political one, stabbing an opponent in the back/saying nasty things/telling stories about how bad they are. Where are the days of when politicians would say what they would do for their voters; how they would improve things; how they would help the community. Its sickening now.
And we've had to ballot boxes burned up. The one in Portland only had 3 ballots burned, but the one in Vancouver last night had hundreds of ballots burned to a crisp. Way to go, loser. Obviously you hate America."

Well, I never got to the mopping,
SO,,,,,,, Here is what I actually ended up doing on Saturday. the other chore i didnt want to do but had to because it was going to rain for the next 3 weeks,
I started at 10am and was done by 1pm -3 hours of hands and knees pulling all the weeds in the bed and on the edges, pulling up the jalapenos and tomatoes. It rained off and on.

Yesterday, I had to go in for thyroid blood work. From the lab we could see all of the olympic mt's, is snowed sunday night, it looked beautiful.
We made a few stops on the way home.
I worked on todays bible study. In between we hung some solar lights on the front porch. One of the porch light fixtures has not been working and we needed light to safely see stepping off the porch.
THEN DH worked on emptying the old truck toolbox. When he was done we took the canopy off the old Ford. I finished my study work, and holy cow it was 4:30BAM!💥💥 where did the day go,
made dinner, cleaned the kitchen, and went to bed at 8:30.

I love my old truck, a lot of memories , "he" is like an old friend.

@Mini Horses @frustratedearthmother

thank you,, my chest is heavy, at times I think i need to call my cardiologist, but I know it is my broken heart.
My best friend of 42yr's is going away. I know where he is going and I know I will be ok.
I wrestled in pray for 3 days before starting this women's Bible study, and know from my prayer time the Jesus will always be with me and I am and never will be alone.
BUT
at times I cant breath, I cry so deep, and then I tell myself dont be self centered, DH is feeling this 10X's more, be his joy and cry later. I have 4 grown kids all 49-37, 11 grandkids 22-2 and one due in 4weeks. I am blessed.

BUT
at times I cant breath,

Great is Thy faithfulness
