i meant how to keep the mice out of the truck that sits outside all that time? my car sat outside too and ended up being a mouse hotel. very hard to deal with them once they set up residence...

That , well DH pulls the cover thing just below the windshield and get all fall leaf and debris out, then puts the cover back on. He sprays under the hood once a month with

And places Tom cat bate things


If we need to drive the truck he pops the hood and moves the bare things.
But other than that I think he routinely checks for rats.

Once in late May I was in the Costco parking lot and watched a mouse crawl down off of the axle of a car down the tire and run back up.

Lazy day here. I'm cooking some things, oven on -- cool day in 60s -- so I threw a small spaghetti squash in there. Never tried any before. A friend gave me 2 this week. They're a small variety, like a one serving size i'll see how they taste.

I know the pan of cabbage & potatoes will be good, as always. Couple meals worth of that going on & chicken in the oven, too. Goats & chickens got some cabbage leaves, cooked potato peels & the squash cleanings. Saved a handful of seed to dry -- in case I like the squash. There's that seed "thing" again

Nix on that squash. Not worth my time or space. Texture very much like al dente spaghetti but pretty tasteless. Free and birds liked it...goats, too

So many other squashes that taste good! Space for them

We are going to Columbus today (2 hour drive one way) to see her new apartment.
Made her some chocolate no bake cookies
