Can't even find VA on that map..
Because it's covered with the rains 😞

KY & TN are getting big flooding, I suspect many VA areas are, too ... And for days to come. My area is soggy wet but, so far the rivers are high, not over banks! They'll stay high as the ground water runs off.

I am now calling my tractor mud bug. Can a AC D19 get stuck? Apparently not, if the operator is praying for Almighty to help him the whole time. I still can't believe mud bug set a 2000lb round of hay and made it back under the run in.

I think I may need a new set of spark plugs or fuel system clean out. It seems like one or two plugs is not hitting all the time. 87 octane around here has a percentage of tainted corn liquor. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if I have a gummy fuel system. I need to troubleshoot to find out. Could just be aomething simple like excess moisture in gasoline also. IDK...

Anyways the finishing yard is the highest pasture ground and that's where I have the hay ring set and waterering tub. The finishing yard is going to need discing, might as well lime and reseed it also while I'm at it. Its just been a very wet winter here. It happenes sometimes.

Looking like 6 to 8 inches of snow for us tomorrow, most definitely 4th winter is here (it's cold out there right now).

If his forecast is correct, north carolina may close due to ice.

"Dont get scared, be prepared" and try to stay warm and vertical. This too shall pass.

All the old Allis Chalmer's were tough tractors.... Ours got around places I would never have thought they could.

How big are your round bales? 2000 lbs???? we make 5x5 and 5x6 bales with the one baler and they weigh in at 1000-1200 lbs... the 4x5 net wrap bales will weigh 800-1000 tops. And we roll them tight...

They are big I would say 5x6 rolled up tight. I have one that lifts the front tires off the ground which makes it near impossible to move with the ground as wet as it is, so it'll have to wait. I go through one round ever 6 to 7 days, 10 head (three 7 month only calves).

I still do bales 😁 with our snow threat looming, I'll load all inside racks wed morn( while they're chowing down outside) and suggest the eat slowly.🥴 Plus stash a few in closed areas close by to refill. Those rascals will trample you trying to refill if totally emptied/eaten. Not running outside -- wet is not on a goats mode of travel -- they'll starve first.

Really, I'm praying for rain!!!!!!

Coffee time over -- out to feed, then off to work. Cramming all the jobs I can into "before" storm, in case snow has me stranded.

I would like some square bales but no one I know makes them around here.

On the first cup of coffee. Wake up temp at 61 but that's supposed to change. Chance of rain today at 70%. Hard freeze possible Th morning. Not sure if it'll reach as far south as us, but weather folks say to be prepared anyway. Just ugh!

hope it doesn't get down that far!

it's plenty cold enough up here it can stay for a bit longer.
