Jesus is Lord and Christ

Good work there, keep farmingI go pick up 75 CCX chicks tomorrow. I threw up a hoop coop with hardware cloth on the sides, a tarp over the cow panels. Perfect for the hot weather we get.

Then February decided to throw a farewell party. Or at least we hope it is farewell. Regardless, my coop needed serious modifications. I dragged out a tarp and wrapped the coop in it. Weighed it down with cinder blocks, tacked it down and put an opened up chicken feed bag over the door. I hung 3 heat lamps and decided that wasn’t enough and hung a fourth one. I think I’m ready now and the baby chicks won’t be chicken flavored popsicles.

Hard to tell because of drifting but I would say we got 4 to 5 inches of light fluffy snow. It was a brisk 9F this morning when I walked out the back door.Trying to prep myself for our unusual -- most in 14 yrs! -- snow eventmentally. I'm seeing several days of trudging through 6-10" of snow, that is a blizzard for us.
Cold & breezy now.
no power loss.
