I need a wood chipper, I looked all over for one that runs off tractor PTO. It pains me to have to buy one from Canada but they don't make them in the USA. It needs a minimum of 50 HP to operate correctly. My tractor is 85 HP so shouldn't have any issues. It also weighes 875 lbs. I ordered the hitch plate for it so I can pull a trailer behind it for the chips to land in. The goal is to never buy a bag of wood chips again.

Yay - glad it's healing well!

I can type again and no longer get caught on the fridge or stove. I'm happy. Other than the swelling and some very slowly receding numbness, it does all functions I want. Swelling prevents full hand closing at moment.

Morning picture. The pinky is fairly straight. Close enough for me anyway.

...

wow! but that's the way to do it as then you're spending the money you might as well get something that has a chance of lasting. so far all the smaller ones i've ever seen just don't hold up, but you still have maint no matter what... i just don't have enough here to make the expense for a tractor or chipper to be worth it, but maybe some time i'll end up renting one or hiring someone in. we'll see...

i think you got lucky there as it could have come out so much worse. i'm glad you persisted to get a better result.

Surgery notes were an interesting read. There was "an amazing amount of scar tissue'.

I think that feature of my medical record made Mom jealous as she's never seen one. It also has bp and pulse recorded every 15 minutes of surgery.

It was all a scar tissue issue. It had adhered the tendon in place

Coffee is ready. Another sunny day! Sure need it to dry up all the mud and the fields. Too wet to do much.
For me, this is the time of year that taxes my patience nice temps for working outside, but MUD.
Mentally planning what I need to do with the shovel. Lol. Always a shovel ready job around here
