Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

On my second cup of coffee. Low winds today, gonna shoot for the 3 huge burn piles from bulldozing the front fence row in December 2023. I’ve burned 2, but some big logs didn’t burn all the way. Maybe I can get something done with them too.

While in the garage today, heard several red wing blackbirds singing. As I was filling the bird feeders, saw one. Spring is coming

yeah, the grackles showed up this past weekend and the redwings usually hang out with them.

forecast for this coming Friday and Saturday is for 68-70F... we'll feel...

Up at 5...coffee, breakfast, checking posts, it's my morning thing. Won't be daylight for a while, DST, but like the extra light late day. Mainly because of job, otherwise it wouldn't matter either way. And 5 long days this week, then fewer job hours - good!! I'm wanting to give gardening some serious time. It's that time of year -- planting time

Not many people get excited about being up at 5:00 AM, just saying...

Dang, on my feet almost all day yesterday, plus up and down 2 steps into the garage where i had the canner setup. Back is fine. Took some valerian root before bed for the calves and knees. End result was worth it. Glad I did not try to tackle baked beans yesterday.

I did sleep in (for me).
