We have a home! or at least home for the next year! I called today and they told us our rental application was approved! :woot :woot I'm so excited! This is actually coming together for us! I also got the electricity and the gas set up to start service in our names on the day we get there, I know what to do for the internet/landline/cable stuff, switching the cell phones on the 26th, internet is waiting, and trash water and sewage are all done through the Mobile Home Park people :) I'm kinda happy :D

In other news, having instant internet access still sucks!

Hey ya'll. Thanks for the encouragement and such :)

So, we got rid of the cats on Sunday. They went to a lovely new home where they will have three other cats to play with and several large dogs :) And several kids.

And on Monday the mice showed up. Farking mice. SO is terrified of them (and we aren't going to get into a discussion here about how I feel about that  ) and so we set out some traps. They cleaned the traps without being trapped. Yesterday I opened my pantry and found myself looking one in the eye. And it ran away before I could grab it. So, I sent SO a text and told him that the mice have invaded MY pantry, and they need to go. He can trap them, poison them, gas them, flood them, and burn the house down, I don't care. I want them GONE! Farking mouse was in MY PANTRY!! Trying to eat my food!! Nuh uh! No way!! So, he came home very happy with my reaction  and bearing glue traps and different styles of traps. The glue traps are supposed to work by putting out an irresistible attractant to the mice and then they get stuck on the glue or something? So far nothing. However, the other traps, call Tomcat Mouse Traps, are rather effective. We baited them with peanut butter and put them several places, including a bottom drawer by the sink. In ten minutes we caught a mouse in that drawer. I left the mouse there so it would die and forgot about. Half hour or so goes by and I hear alot of noise coming from that drawer. So I open the drawer to find another mouse running away and the dead mouse with its guts showing. Farking mice have turned cannibal! Apparently this is a good sign, because it means that they aren't getting into our food and so have no choice but to eat their dead friends. Threw out the dead half eaten mouse and rebaited the trap. little bit of time goes by and SNAP! goes the trap again! So I throw that one away, rebait again and bait another one and put it in the top drawer. We woke up this morning to one dead mouse in the top drawer and 2!! in the bottom! One of which was still alive!! Apparently they were nibbling together and the one got it's head partially snapped  Five mice with two traps in less than a 12 hour period! Haven't heard any traps snap today so maybe that was all of them? :D

The packing is going ok. I stopped and made GF bread yesterday. And did alot of nothing :D but, now we have some bread, and I'll make more later this time with herbs :) Thankfully the GF bread is actually easy to make, and I read a hint somewhere that said add an extra egg to the mix and it won't come out as doughy/gluey/half raw in the middle. And it worked!! Yay!!! So, we'll see how i do with the Herbs today. :D

I'm trying not to post negative or whiney things. I had my last day of work Sunday and it was kinda harder than I expected it to be, but I'm getting over it :)
