Aight, not counting today, but counting the day we leave, we move in 11 days!!! Need to get my rear in gear!

Yesterday I:
Put the carcasses in the crocks, and pulled the meat off after eight hours and froze them in two baggies for later soup/stew use
-does anyone have a good GF stew recipe using chicken?
Made a loaf of Chocolate Zucchini Bread using the Gluten Free Pantry All Purpose Flour and the recipe on the box
Took the remainder of the shredded zuke and froze it in half cup portions in muffin tins and then stuck those in ziploc baggies for later use

So far today I've:
Made a loaf of GF bread - added Italian seasonings to make it an herb bread! (ok, it's currently baking).
I've washed several loads of dishes, as I pull them out of the cupboards in preparation to packing them.
I emptied the Island and tossed it into the fire/garbage pit out back.
I uncovered the dresser and bedside table on the back deck and tossed them into same pit.
I pulled the old gas stove off the back deck and tossed that in afore mentioned pit.
Now there is room for the washer and dryer we are taking with us.
I've got two carcasses finishing their boil down in crock pots

I still need to :
Go through the drawer from the Island and figure out what is garbage and what isn't
Go pull two more carcasses out to do start the process all over again!
Sweep the kitchen floor, it's disgusting
Figure out what to make for dinner
Make dinner
Clear off the table so we can eat dinner at table :)
Empty dryer and put away clothes

p.s. I am enjoying this!! :)

just replace pasta in any chicken stew/soup recipe with rice or rice noodles.

Ummm, broth, veges such as carrots and rutabegas, rice, chicken, sage, salt, pepper, garlic and smoked paprika.
Oh! And lots of chicken fat or butter if not fat is available.

would it work if I'm using the chicken broth which contains alot of chicken fat? :D and if I'm doing stew don't I need a thickner agent? I really appreciate it, I've never actually made stew before, and I haven't looked up any recipes yet :)

and 'Zilla ? :p

As a mom of two boys, I had a flashback! You were being a little boy who didn't want to eat his cauliflower. :love

If you use rice, it will be thick. If you use a bit too much it will be a cassarole!
If you use pasta, then use cornstarch or rice flour to thicken.
And yes, your broth should be fatty enough.

oh, awesome! I totally missed the rice, especially if you put it in dry! :hugs thank you! I think I'm going to fish the bones out of one of the crocks and try this tonight! I don't have carrot or rutabaga but I do have turnip, so I could dice one of those and toss it in, along with a leek, and part of a frozen bag of mixed veggies and let that sit overnight?! then SO can take it to work for lunch tomorrow! :woot :woot Thank you so much BB! If we were closer I'd give you a jar of my strawberry raspberry peach jam :)
