I like that. LOL. Bars -- well, let's face it, there has never been social distancing in one I've ever gone into! Only masks were on robbers So, they could close and I'm sorry about it. Then again -- doesn't alcohol kill the germs??

VA says we need to have a mask in stores -- I just don't go to store often now. But, I do keep a mask or two in my truck for the times I need to go in. At work -- mostly I close off the aisle I'm working and no one is close, mask at hand but.......

I don't really "get" the whole pushback against masks. I wear one, DH wears one. They aren't fun, they're hot and even a bit uncomfortable - but if it gives me one tiny scintilla of protection for either myself or my loved ones - I'm gonna wear the darn thing.

I know there have been claims of them impeding oxygen intake or retaining CO2, but after watching this video - I'm not sure I buy that they are any kind of health risk for a healthy person.

‎*Michigan “We are reviewing many technology tools that have been offered to aid the COVID-19 response to ensure they adhere to our commitment to privacy. Our contact tracing is currently tech enabled through Deloitte, but people based through a multitude of volunteers. We are working with a university on a contact tracing program that will be announced in the near future and are leveraging texting as part of our current contact tracing efforts. To help Michiganders find testing near them, we are also offering an online testing locater powered by Castlight. This is part of a broader strategy to Contain COVID to help slow the spread of the virus, keep our first responders safe and save lives in Michigan.”

Gov Abbot closed bars, limited restaurant seating to 50%, closed down the river rafting and banned outdoor gatherings of over 100 people unless approved by local officials.

We have some restaurants that have never opened back up to inside dining. They are still drive thru or pick up only.

The river rafting down some of the central Texas rivers are jam packed. So, no social distancing there. Plus, you get picked up and bussed back to the starting point.

I'm glad that Texas is not participating in social tracking. That is an intrusion and to put an app on your phone is just wrong. Of course, your movements are tracked anyway. Used to, you could remove the battery from your phone, can't do it with these smart phones.

FEM, I agree with wearing a mask. We don't always put one on, but when we go to town, I have a bag with masks, sanitizer and wipes in it. For a quick run in the post office to get mail, i don't always grab a mask, guilty! With Covid cases rising daily, wearing a mask is just a smart thing to do. Since one can have Covid and spread it for weeks before showing symptoms, wearing a mask protects others. If my wearing a mask protects some one else from catching a deadly virus from me, then i will wear one. I have to admit, going to a restaurant and sitting down to a meal is enticing. By the time we get home with take out, it just isn't as good anymore.

If you don't want to be tracked, wrap aluminum foil around your phone. To see if it works, wrap your phone in aluminum foil and have someone call your phone. It won't ring.

3. Now choose Health
4. Tap COVID-19 Exposure Logging at the top
5. For now, you’ll need an authorized app before Exposure Notifications can be turned on. But then you can tap the toggle to turn notifications on or off
6. You can also delete the exposure logs manually at any time at the bottom of the settings
