I am very, VERY jealous! An underground/off grid home has been a dream of mine forever. Having a view of water is BIG BONUS!
:thumbsup

Where are you located that you have a view of the ocean?

Nice!

And it shouldn't be so high up that cooking and adjustments are a problem. I had to relearn some things (not just baking -- do you know water boils at a diff temp and spices are blander at high elevations?) about cooking while living in the mountains, and when I first moved I didn't feel well -- after living there I used to get headaches if I came down into the valley. I used to keep chewing gum or jerky in the car to help with ear-popping during the drive.

But you're right -- 800-900 feet is a hill. ;)

Very happy for you, and there's space for goats and/or mini cows!!!
:thumbsup

That is so cool! I'm happy for you! We have 3 acres and that is just about right. Big enough you can put some animals on it but small enough to keep your numbers in check! It's a good manageable size. Goats love hillsides..... :hide
