Your coping skills are remarkable, just saying. I am often amazed at how calmly you just get on with things and get things done and just keep going, even if you have to sit down while you're doing it. I agree a specialist appointment is long overdue! Hope that will be of help to you. I'm so glad you got Bay and she seems to be doing well with you :) She's such a beautiful dog and apart from being a help, she can be a wonderful companion and friend for you as well.

Thank you @sumi . It means a lot to hear that, and it's a kick in the pants when I want to wallow. I really do have those moments.

Migraine today. I was planning to train today while DS11 was at day camp. I lasted about 30 minutes, went home and stayed in bed all day. DS11 rode home with a friend. :sigh: It's easing up but goodness, I didn't not expect a migraine. I don't have them often. I can't take my regular medication (a vasoconstrictor) when I have them, but the weather was cool and cloudy so it was okay.

I've had a couple good-enough days to catch up on housework. Eh, good enough. I've given up on everything farm and garden for the foreseeable future. I have a list of things to do before winter, and that is all.

She's such a lovely to look at dog -- I'd just work on the counters. :) I'm certain she doesn't mean any harm  At my house only a min-pin...no counter top issues.

And, she's tall enough to reach them too! How's she doing in her training?
She's doing well. Sorta. I'm not sure if she is going to be able to work in public. Which is really okay, she works at home. (just inconvenient for travel). I've discovered some signs of past mis-treatment. She's obviously been caught and thrashed, such as for running away. So we've been doing lots of trust-building. Thankfully she stays nearby if she's loose - DS3 keeps letting her outside! And she does eventually come for canned dog food in a squeeze tube. 2 days of this training and she's really changing. Not just her behavior outside, but all the time. I'm going to try again taking her in public pet-friendly places after some more trust-building. She's so close to the public access training requirements, but definitely needs a lot of training.
