Gray drizzly day here. I did more weeding. I didnt get to moving decomposing wood chips. 1/4 of the garden has the tall weeds pulled, but already needs to be hoed.

I'm not feeling great today. Tired for no good reason. 🤔

I won't have a garden next year. I'll be putting the farm up for sale in March. I will keep running the tractor and disc in the garden so weeds don't take over and scare prospective buyers away, LOL For now, I got 2/3 of a patch with weed cloth cleaned up. We laid down paper feed sacks, weed cloth over it and bricks to hold it down. I got most of it picked up, in trash bags, bricks stacked in back of mule to be moved elsewhere yesterday, but got tired. Once i get the rest of it up, I can turn sheep in there to eat all the weeds. Then take down my cowpanel tomato trellis, T-posts and stack to be moved. But the danged weed cloth has to go first and I've been too weak to tackle it. Sure felt good to accomplish something yesterday.

it was so gloomy here today i had moths flying around my room in the middle of the day. it was much easier to catch them this time as compared to having to try to get them at night when i'm compooting.

we did have some sunshine later in the day. nice to see the sun for a change.

I finished knitting a mobius scarf today while supervising DS14's chores. He is getting into trouble at school. He dumped tomato juice on an elementary student's head on the bus. He emailed a girl saying "consider not eating" without context. (It was supposed to be a joke since she had just had food poisoning, but its still not okay!) He is getting stuck in - and initiating - relational aggression and has no idea what he is doing. (Presumed Autism). It has been a long day, but, hey, he did laundry and dishes.

I canned 6 pints of BBQ sauce. 1 jar blew its lid during cool down. I havent had that happen before. I put it in the fridge, no biggie.

I am working on garden planning and ordered seed. I usually do it in December, but with all the food shortage rumors and people panic buying, I decided to buy early.

That’s so hard, I think DD1 has autism also (her doctor won’t refer us to a specialist without the school testing her and I’m not doing that).

Good idea on ordering seeds… 🤔 maybe I should do that too…

I'm glad that I didn't have to battle the mess that many of public schools have turned into.
Me too! No way I could have home schooled either -- I worked.

Seeds? Geesh, where does the time go? That time already. There were a lot of additional seed buyers last couple of years, making some varieties sell out. Guess I'll check them out. Maybe the newbies quit after all the work became apparent.

I didn't get a garden in this year. High hopes for 2022!! Seriously need to clean the goat barn  want it in the garden area but feel I need to redisc it and get the roots out first....I mean it was a pasture and still wants to be! :he hoping the wetness stops soon so I can get this done....otherwise a HUGE pile in there to spread....not good! Chicken coops to clean, also. :th

Baker creek was sold out of a lot. Maybe too early for them to restock? They had my favorites. I ordered from Urban Farmer again for larger quantities at smaller prices.

I bartered virtual dog training for virual behavior therapist. It was awesome! It helped me so much! There are private /freelance behavior therapists out there.
