We hauled lambs to auction today. They're small, our pasture sucks, we probably won't get hardly anything for them. Uggh! It was our worst experience loading the trailer yet. We set it up the same as usual, but this group would NOT just walk into the trailer. Normally it takes 3 minutes to load them. This time took a sweaty un-fun hour.

Dropped DS16 off at his biodad's house.

Then spent the rest of the day at work, mostly painting my office. 2 coats on! Walls are good-enough! Only construction thing left to do in my room is the base trim - when the rest of the building's is done. Tons left to do in the rest of the building!

DS16 spent an overnight at biodad's house. Mentally was good. Physically... he forgot to drink water. Had caffeine, slept poorly, ate candy. Crashed a couple hours after getting home. Luckily his momma knows exactly what to do. He's fine. Scared himself pretty good when he started losing vision. Self-care is not optional!

DS16 started naltrexone today. I've been pushing for this for a few months. Pretty sure it would help him. It removes the intrinsic reinforcement for his behavioral addiction behaviors.

Omg. Unbelievable change in just an hour or so after taking it. He can answer a question without launching a massive argument. 🤯 He's a different person on this medication, in the best way possible. Here's hoping it's not a fluke 🤞🤞

DS16 didn't steal anything today. Didn't destroy property, misuse technology, misuse tools or weapons, scream at anyone, make his brother cry. No stimming/fidgeting. The 3 times I needed to correct/discuss a behavior he was responsive and just no big deal.

At bedtime he said, "Mom, you were right [about naltrexone]"
