The seller is going to chlorinate the well. Hopefully that will solve it. There is high nitrates too, we might put in a reverse osmosis system.
As far as the lender, fingers crossed! It seems to be the only option that can process a loan fast enough. The other options take about 3 months and that's too long for the seller.
Looks like everything is falling into place, one more signature left between now and closing. Our house is going on the market ASAP. The agent is coming over this afternoon to take photos for the listing.
Pre-approved with second lender. Paperwork returned. Seller had the well looked and at scheduled replacing the well cap and chlorination. Our house is listed. Now we wait? 37 days...
31 days left! We announced it to my fiancé's family. They are very excited. Pretty much everyone is thrilled about it except me. Thinking about having 2 mortgages at once is sucking all the enjoyment out of it. :/
Someone looked at our house over the weekend and posted feedback. The only negative was lack of dishwasher and there were no suggestions for improvement. No comment on price. It's really, really weird to be in a small town and know - or know of - the people who are looking at your house!!!!!
