Quail_Antwerp.......
You will join FD in getting the garden ready as well as planting. Your in charge of making chairs and benchs, remember some of us are larger than others so build them well. You will also help TH make breakfast in the mornings for the whole camp. With your pill skills your also assigned with BB for medical services. You have been assigned a new skill, you will be a profit gatherer. You will go into the woods, walk up and down the roads, dumpster diving to look for materials we can use to not only make camp a better place, but also to barter and sell. We will work together dumpster diving and looking through others peoples junk for a profit. Once we get the money for scrap metal, made items that are sold, you will join free and go out shopping for the camp. Your DH is assigned to making snack lunches as well as to Wifezilla for loom duty. He also will be straighting nails that are gathered to use to build. He also is now in charge of inventory/rations for the camp.

I also need soap makers, candle makers, and basket makers. I can make baskets from items gathered in the woods, some can be made nice enough to sell.

modern_pioneer, you've got this thing well organized.
I can make candles as long as we have beeswax. I don't like using parafin, besides it's a petroleum product, so I don't think we'd want to use that. They used to make candles out of bay berries, which grow in the New England area. We could see if we can figure out how to do that.
I love dumpster diving!!! Can I come, please!!!
I'm also good at finding stuff, that you don't know what it was for originally, but know what to use it for now, that you found it. You know what I mean ?! ;)
Like these two round metal things I found at the Goodwill outlet a few weeks ago. They were slightly bowl shaped grates with rubber around the edges. I thought: They look like they might fit on top of a 5 gallon bucket. So I brought them home. The following week we were on the receiving end of some crayfish. They went into a 5 gallon bucket with some water and those grate things fit perfectly. The handle kept them on tight. The critters couldn't get out and nothing could get in. It was easy to drain the water out and change it too. I still don't know what the original purpose of those round grate like things was.

Remind me to not allow you to cook, can or put food up.

You might be better used for more manual stuff as well as adult entertainment.

Yes, there is a 18 and under curfew at 2100hrs, cept for BB he's 35 living in the body of a 17y/o. :gig

Drinking of wine to be marry and joyful is allowed, if you get rude or out of control BBH will escort you back to your tent, where the following morning you will be brought out in front of the whole camp in your undies and bra (if applicable) and made to apologize. Also you will not be allowed to par take of wine for no less than one week. The second time it happens you will be whipped by free with her homemade broom, third time, you will be kicked out of camp and you will be regarded as the city slicker that tried to be SS. :smack

Keeping with community values, no hokey/pokey is allowed within 1 mile of camp.

That covers touching others or yourself, no rubbing, tongue kissing or such rudeness is allowed. Remeber there are kids in the camp. If you wish to run into the woods every four hours for some in/out/in/out come see me, I will bring some salt peter and a picture of my ex wife, that'll fix your urges. :sick Also there will be none of "that" :ep mixed with conditioner for protien, I know we're trying to be SS but thats where I draw the line.

Keeping clean minds is as important as keeping our bodys clean, no funky butts allowed. If there should be a funky butt, I refer to my Army basic training tatics. The community as a whole will give you a bath, you will be clean in places that you never knew was ever dirty.

I never said I wasn't fickle about some things. :p

Look at it from my point of view, I just wanna learn. :celebrate

Sides, I never started a thread about it before, and I like them both, one more than another maybe, no... I likem both.

Free knows I :love her cool stuff that she does, now I have a group of folks that wanna join in and learn some of the SS stuff she does. I would have felt odd if I was all alone in my quest. So many times I have read other posters mention how much they want to learn some of the SS stuff free does.

I know if free wrote a book called Free Motion in the Life of being SS I'd buy a few dozen copies. Wouldn't you?

I think between the two of us, we could produce some pretty nifty TP, don't you think?
I fear it would be too pretty to use! :gig
