Don't know how much I'll be on during the day, but I'll check in as much as possible. We now have the outer bands of rain. So far, it hasn't gotten windy. It was a rush to get it all done, but I got everything I needed to do outside down. I wanted to put more water by, but hubby doesn't think it's going to get that bad. We have 20 gallons in 5 gallon containers by the front door. I have a few kitty litter containers filled, and was going to fill the rest, but he didn't want me to, so I stopped. It will serve him right if the power goes out for days, and we don't have enough water. I also have my solar shower filled and outside. That way, I'll have hot water for a shower if needed.

I'm getting ready to put a pot roast in the oven, and do some dishes and laundry. I'm starting w/the clothes that are most important to have-jeans and shirts. If I have enough time, I have 4 or 5 loads I can do. I'm not sure how much I'm going to get done since the barometric pressure has dropped, so I'm dizzy. So, we'll see.

But, my animals are all fed. Cats are in the tack shed. I have extra water for all of them. I plan on running out to the farm later on to check on everyone. I feel kind of bad for the chickens since I don't have what I wanted yet for them, so they're on their own. Next weekend though, w/or w/out my hubby's help, it's getting done.

Change of plans. I looked at the radar. And, it showed some really nasty rain heading my way. So, while it was still fairly light, I ran out to the farm. Stormy has been fed, cats were given their canned food and a large bowl of water. I checked on my chickens, they're all fine. And, there was a bald eagle sitting in a tree down by LF's shed! I drove down cuz I wanted to take his picture on my cell phone, but B4 I could get it out, it flew away. :hit

At home, 2nd load of clothes in in the wash and the pot roast is in the oven. I'm taking a bit of a break, then I'll be doing more work.

ETA: Almost forgot to say, if I can, I plan on checking in every hour. So, I'll be on at 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30. After that, I plan on going to bed.

Just checking in. I have load 3 in the washer, and have the dishwasher loaded. I have some dishes to hand wash, someone gave me a bunch of tomatoes that I'm turning into sauce, and I need to clean the bathroom. I have 2 more loads to wash, then dishes after dinner. Then, I won't care too much if we lose power.

As long as we can still get internet, you'll continue to hear from me. That's what the generator is for!
