I looked outside a bit ago, and noticed the goats standing under their overhang, staring towards the house. That's not like them. Normally, when it's raining out, they're in their house, staring towards the house. So, feeling all OFG, I grabbed an axe and headed out. My thought was that maybe something was in there! I get out, and find the problem immediately, the roof was leaking! Having nothing else I could use to fix it, I grabbed a couple of empty feed bags, cut them open, and stapled them over the roof. If I had know B4 that it was leaking, I would have brought home a bunch from the farm. I'll probably do that anyway. Then, I threw some straw in there. They're now in, quite happily munching on the straw.

The pot roast is done.

The last load of laundry is in the washer!

I'm getting ready to do some to the bathroom. I'm not too worried about the floor, just the tub and toilet.

Sauce is cooking away. Hopefully, by 8:30, it will be in jars.

Deb it may have not been leaking before. We got a bad storm here that made our goat shed roof spring a leak. A light rain wouldn't have been leaking through.

This shed was only supposed to be temporary. All it had for a roof was a couple of pieces of wood-no shingles. They overlap. The bottom one warped, or something, so the water was going thru there.

It's almost 7:30 now, I just finished eating, and now I'm going back to work. I'll be back around 8:30. (I hope)

I'm back, but not sure for how long. Right around 8:30, the power went out. I got the tub and toilet cleaned, and was working on the sink. The last load of clothes was almost done drying. I was running the dishwasher w/the last of the dishes, plus some jars to put my sauce in. I figured I had enough time to finish what I was doing, then get a shower, then do my sauce and dishes. Well, the sauce is now in the fridge. The rest will have to wait.

Tomorrow morning, I'll be working on folding the clothes as well as some ironing. Don't know how much hubby is going to run the generator. But, he'll be running it a lot more than I would. :/

That's a bit far from me, so hopefully, it's not a problem

And, my hubby is driving me nuts! He's asking me if I'm hearing any difference in how the generator's running. I can just barely hear it, let alone notice a change. I told him that, and he STILL keeps asking me. :barnie My ears hurt, right about now. :hit
