I'm waiting until my tack shed gets all done, the chickens have their new area and my horse trailer is done! Otherwise, they'll probably NEVER get done. And, he's going to be told he has to decide what's more important to him, me or Ethyl (alcohol). W/my tack shed done, I can either live in there for a couple of weeks, or I can go to the local campground and stay there for a bit. But, I'd prefer the tack shed.

I'm still feeling a bit :sick but better than I have been. So, I guess I'd better get up and get a move on. But, I finished reading Romans this morning as well as 1 Corinthians! When I get home, I should be able to read 2 Corinthians, Galatians and half of Ephesians. Then, tonight I'll be done as far as 1 Timothy. Tomorrow morning, I'll read as far as the end of Hebrews, then later I'll read as far as Jude, and at night, I'll read Revelation, and I'll be done!

hey I need a new saddle and love the Codura saddles cause they are so light. what do you use?
I have a rocking chair saddle, 16 in. western and it rocks but truly it is darn near dry rotted from sitting over these many years when I had my kiddo...but getting back into horses now and just wondering what you like in a saddle. I like easy butt saddles lol

i know theres stuff to do that wont get done if you dont do it (been there, dumped that lol) but if you dont give your body chance to rest and get over this itll linger for alot longer.

Isn't everyone going for green now? :D

I'm pretty much over this, just still feeling a bit tired, so I'm taking it easy-for me. For the first time all week, I scooped some poop. It's been too wet, and I've not felt up to it, but I didn't try to get too much done, and didn't tire myself out. Other than that, I just did normal, everyday stuff. I had another egg under the feed bucket, so that makes 4 this week! :weee I took care of the chickens, and the cats and bagged some feed. I have to do some dishes and some wood, but that's all I'm getting done today. Though I probably will make dinner. I have almost a whole leftover turkey in my fridge. I have 2 meals I need to make out it, but I'm making a double recipe of each. The leftovers will be frozen. I'm not much on sandwiches, and this will give me several lunches. Then, I'll be throwing the carcass in a big pot of water, boiling it for several hours, then making a couple of different types of soup. That will be dinner for another couple of days as well as lunches. For now, I'll be freezing the soup, but eventually, I'm hoping to learn how to can it. It's much easier to reheat-especially if there's a power outage.

FC, for my saddle, I have the Big Horn. I think this is the one, kind of hard to tell from the pic cuz it's kind of dark. http://www.horse.com/item/big-horn-synthetic-suede-trail-saddle/E002642/ But, I love it. It's comfy and only weighs about 12 or 15 lbs, don't recall now which.

Cheerio, sorry to hear that you're in competition w/Ethyl too. :hugs

I might actually be getting my cart today, as well as having my chicken coop built! It's going to depend on how my hubby is feeling. And, I didn't make dinner last night. When I was going to, hubby was in the way in the kitchen. I thought he was just making something for himself, but he decided to cook me something as well. I need to get that done. I do not want all that turkey to go to waste. I need to get off of here soon. 2 Timothy is calling my name.
