I'm not planning on doing a lot today. I'll be going to church both this morning and this evening. I'll be feeding animals and doing dishes. And I might do some firewood since it's supposed to be much cooler this week. I had hoped to do a bunch last week, but the weather just didn't cooperate. I know I'll need a fire tonight, so I'll have to do some.

It's going to be cold tonight! We could get a freeze, so I took as much out of the garden as I could-including my sweet potatoes. I also brought in wood for overnight, and have a fire going. I didn't get to the dishes cuz when I was ready to do them, hubby was in the kitchen in my way. And of course, he's stuck stuff in the oven again.

Since I don't have stuff to worry about in the garden any more, I removed my trap. So now I won't have to worry about catching any more "Flowers" until next year. As soon as I have the time, I'll be getting all the plants out of the garden. I had blight on my tomatoes, and powdery mildew on my vine crops. So, I'll be burning all the old plants as a precaution. Plus, the ashes will help the soil.

Last time I checked the temp, it was 31* out, so I guess it's a good thing I picked the stuff in my garden. What I left was basically just the stuff that hadn't had time to mature. Don't know if any of it will or not, so we'll see. It's not supposed to get this cold again for a bit.

Today is going to be another busy day, though I don't know that my list is going to be that long. I'm working today. It's a good thing we changed from Wednesday to today. They're calling for rain on Wednesday. And since we got rained out last Wednesday, I'll probably have to work all day. I'm also bringing my trailer home. I told hubby I want my mower. He's gotten it running and he's been using it at home. I need it at the farm. I have dock coming up and starting to develop seeds. I need to be able to mow. I've been getting the plants up best I can, but it takes quite awhile. I don't know if I'll have time to do any today. So, my list for today is:

1. Work in living room
2. Dishes
3. Go to bank and gas station
4. Normal farm chores
5. Lesson
6. Work
7. Clean field and spread manure
8. Bring home trailer
9. Firewood
10. Clean goat pen
11. Feed animals at home

That's plenty for today. I'd better get started.

You need two kitchens in that house, girl-- one for you and one for that husband of yours (he can clean his own!)

Tell me about it! But truthfully, I'd rather have a duplex. He could live in one half, I'd live in the other.

I didn't quite get everything done, but got most of it done. I had hoped to do dishes this morning, but didn't have time. And since I've been in the house hubby has been in the kitchen. He's drunk and talking non stop. I also didn't get to the goat pen. It was starting to get dark by the time I got home. But, I was able to work on the firewood some, and filled up half of the wood holder in the basement. It's not going to be overly cold tonight and is going to be warmer tomorrow, so I'm not making a fire. I'm going to try to get the wood holder filled the rest of the way tomorrow, and hope to get some into the wood shed.

But, I had a great lesson on Misty. Rather than working in the arena today, we went to the back of the property. She has a few acres of woods w/trails thru them and a big field w/jumps in it. So, we worked in the woods and in the field. Misty was much more relaxed. She spooked a couple of times, but nothing major, and we worked thru it. Of course, now that I'm getting better at riding, it helps. I sometimes wonder how good of a rider I'd be if I had had the chance to learn how to ride properly when I was a kid.

Today is going to be a beautiful day. So, I'm planning on doing a lot outside. I'm not going to the hay auction-I don't have enough room to store another load of hay at this time, so I'm going to wait a couple of weeks. By then, I'm hoping to have a bit more room. I am going to run to a flea market though, and see if I can get a thin stocking type cap to wear under my helmet. I used to have one, but it got destroyed.

Tomorrow, they're calling for rain (again!), so I'm hoping to do a lot of work in the house then. Inside, I'm only planning to get the bathroom cleaned and dishes done. So, my list for today is:

1. Dishes
2. Normal farm chores
3. Bible study
4. Flea market
5. Work on firewood
6. Clean goat pen
7. Work in yard
8. Clean bathroom

This list looks short. But, I'll actually be getting a lot done if I'm able to do all of this.

Glad your lesson went well! The weather changes in our forecast and is only supposed to be yucky tomorrow. That's a good thing! I was not interested in another whole week of bad weather!

The only thing that I haven't gotten done yet is the bathroom and I'll be doing that once hubby falls asleep. I also got part of my orchard weeded. I ordered my plants a few weeks ago and got a postcard saying they weren't sending anything until next year. Then, w/out getting any notification, they sent some of them! The trees are dormant (I hope, they look dead), so I have them in my basement for right now. I'll be putting them in water tomorrow, and planting them on Thursday.

Today is another wet day and it's not going to get very warm out. I need to go start a fire, but don't feel like moving. And, I never cleaned the bathroom yesterday, so I need to get that done. If I hadn't sat down, I would have been fine. Oh well. I need to get moving cuz I want to get to the farm early. If I get to the farm early, I can get home early and get a lot done. So, my list for today is:

1. Start a fire
2. Clean out fridge
3. Take out trash and recyclables
4. Clean bathroom
5. Go to TSC and bank
6. Normal farm chores
7. Help w/some cleaning up at church
8. Clean kitchen
9. Make ketchup
10. Dishes
11. Feed animals at home

I don't think I'll get any farther than that, but if I do, it's a bonus.
