:hugs Hope you get to feeling better. Nothing like not feeling well when you have stuff to do. Don't let yourself feel guilty for taking some time to heal rather than attacking your to do list. I know it's hard...

I finally feel like I'm getting some place at home. I finally got my tomatoes, peppers and eggplant seeds started. I'm only a month and a half behind on that. Today, I'll be bringing home more manure, and putting it in my garden. Then, I'll be working on finally getting the fence up and getting some stuff planted.

Today, I'll be picking the first of my asparagus! :ya I can hardly wait!

I've gotten more of my house clean. I just may get my Christmas tree down this month. :hide

None of my girls have gone broody yet. I now have about a dozen eggs in each place that the house hens have been laying, but no one is setting. :hit I want chicks! If I don't get any by May 23rd, I'll have to break down and buy some-if they're not too expensive. That's when they'll have them at the feed store.

You all are corrupting me. I am now looking for a buck. I'm thinking a Nigerian dwarf since I need something that could service both my girls. Brown Sugar is a nubian, and Gidget is a Nigerian cross.

At the farm, I'm not getting the cleaning done, nor the fence posts in. It keeps raining. But today, even if I get no cleaning done, I'll be putting in some fence posts. I bought 2 rolls of fence the other day. It was all they had, and they don't know when they're getting more in. I had wanted to buy all my fencing there since it was cheaper than TSC by $30/roll but they don't know that they're getting more in. And, I just can't afford to pay the extra at TSC. But, if I bought the rolls that are 200 feet, they cost about the same as 2 of the 100 foot rolls. I hadn't wanted to use them since I wasn't sure how I'd be able to put them up. Then I had an idea, there's a spear on the bucket. If I use the spear to lift it out of my truck, and have the spear angled up, it should unroll, and I'll be able to just use the tractor to move the roll! So, for the longest areas, I'll use that, and then fill in w/the shorter rolls. I'll do 4 or 5 fence posts today, as well as tomorrow. I don't know if I'll get any done on Saturday or not. It's supposed to rain again. I'll have to have someone help me w/that corner post, but as long as I'm able to get it in soon, I should be able to put the first section of fence up by next Wednesday! Then, I can get cracking on the next section and by the end of the month, I should be done!

Almost forgot to say, I went to the chiropractor on Tuesday. He adjusted my ears and my neck. He said both of them were really out. And, I've had no vertigo since then!

Wait... I didn't remember that you had goats. Oh yeah, I'm the last person on the planet who doesn't .

Glad the chiro helped!

Good to hear your feeling better. I had no idea your ears could go out of adjustment. Crazy..

So how do you put in fence post by yourself?? Are you hand digging? do they go in cement or just dirt? It amazes me how much you get done.

Now I wanna go!
X2! I'm so happy for you! Yay for the chiropractor!

I've had it be helpful for me in the past sometimes too. I'm glad it made the vertigo go away! I hope it stays that way for 10 years or so at least.

:thumbsup
