Right now, it's doing both. I hope it continues. I am so tired of dealing w/the mud. And, my one chicken pen just doesn't have a chance to dry out.

I really need to get off the farm. I am still dealing w/crap from DM and LF. They are once again putting their manure in my field. And, RU will do NOTHING about it. Of course, it doesn't stay in my field, it goes back in theirs. I have spent too much time trying to make my area nice to want to deal w/it. Then, there's always the chance that there could be parasites or their horses could have a disease that's spread by manure. Hubby is off of work. So, he's going to help me rig up a barrier between the 2 fields on Wednesday. I've already put a lock on my gate so they can't bring it in that way.

The problem is, the board there is cheap. I could not afford to keep all 3 horses if I had to move. Stormy would have to be put down, Licorice would have to be sold, and I'd have to get rid of my chickens. I am praying that a way will open up for me to move so I can have them in my backyard.

Ugh, having a difficult farm situation is not fun. I hope you find a positive resolution soon. There isn't anything better than having them in your own personal space in my opinion. I miss that.

I have found a place that is vacant, has enough land and has a 3 stall barn. I'm praying about it. It has a for sale sign in front of it, but when I finally found the listing, it said it's off market, so we'll see.

Been doing videos on my YouTube Channel, Dizzy's Doings. Just posted one of a poisonous pasture plant.

Cool on the videos! I'll have to go check that out.
I hope that the best possible outcome comes quickly and easily!

I posted a link on here. I'll be doing videos of other poisonous plants once they start growing again! We got snow yesterday, and it's not supposed to be overly nice for the next week or 2 at least. We may get more snow. I just hope the 26th is nice. My niece is getting married then.

yeah, the forecast is looking nasty for the next week or so. And I have chicken duty again on top of the usual barn chores. They're just going to stay locked in the coop!!
