I can't believe it. I actually read 3 chapters of DC yesterday, and didn't want to put the book down! I found myself getting interested in the story and want to see what happens next. So, maybe there's hope for me after all.

The bad thing is, when hubby is home, it's harder for me to find the time to do what I want. So, I didn't get to pray, read and study the Bible and read DC until late. So, I got to bed late, which means I'm now tired. Maybe I'll take a nap at the farm today.

Well, hubby wanted to cook, so I'm letting him. I'll still need to do the dishes. But, my living room, kitchen and bathroom are all cleaned! I've been setting time aside for prayer everyday. Some days, it's not the 30 minutes-it's less, other days it's more. I have started to make 2 copies of my weekly prayer list. One I leave at home, the other at the farm. That way, if I have the time at the farm (like today, it was cold and my field is still too wet after last week's rain), I can pray then. I've read 11 chapters of DC, and will read at least 2 more tonight. I'm working on my Spanish everyday. And, I've done what's on my list everyday! So, I am making progress.

Good thing for my schedule that I'm only putting down farm and yard on it. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to say I got them done! I got to the farm yesterday, and instead of doing what I had planned, I helped RU w/the fence. Then, once I got home, I only worked on wood, but didn't touch the green house. There's a bit more that I need to cut as well as a few pieces someone dropped off for me that I can't do anything w/for awhile-they have poison ivy vines on them! :barnie I still need more wood, but it's not supposed to be too cold for the next few days, so that will cut down on the amount I do need.

I'm finding that if I work on my Spanish while I eat breakfast, then read a chapter of DC while I eat both lunch and dinner, I'm able to get them done. I thought of having either my devotions or prayer time then, but would rather have time set aside that's only for God, and nothing else. It's too easy to get distracted. I didn't spend as much time in prayer yesterday, but that's because I went to prayer meeting last night-that cut down on the amount of time I had in the evening.

Housework I do B4 I leave for the farm. There are some days when hubby cooks, and some days that I cook. And, depending on my time and the amount of dishes made, I don't always get them done. There weren't a lot of dishes yesterday, and I just barely got to prayer meeting on time as it was. When I got home, I was beat, hubby was asleep and doing the dishes would have woken him up. Tonight, I'll get them all done. Dinner might just be leftover spaghetti.

Now that I don't have to go to therapy, I'm starting to get a workable schedule down. I'm still not getting everything done that I want to get done, but I'm seeing progress. I've almost got all of the review of Spanish done. I've read 41 chapters of DC. My house is cleaner. I've gotten some of my garden done. I've gotten more stuff caught up out at the farm. I'm finding time to pray everyday, even if it's not for 30 minutes. I'll be updating the end of the month, seeing what I still need to work on, and see if I can add something to the list.

1. Make a reasonable daily schedule of what I want to accomplish

2. Work on my Spanish.

3. Make sure the house is cleaner when I go to bed than it was when I got up.

4. Everyday I'm home B4 my hubby, I'm going to make dinner. That is, unless he says he wants to cook something.

5. Set aside time everyday to pray for 1/2 hour.

6. Read David Copperfield.
OK, the above were my goals for March. So, let me see how I did.

1. I was doing good on this until about the middle of the month. Then, I had to do a bunch of running around 1 day, and it got me off schedule and had trouble getting back on. Plus, I don't always sleep well, which makes it hard for me to always do what I plan. So, I'll continue to work on this.

2. I've been working on my Spanish. I will continue to work on it. I used to be fairly fluent in it, but haven't used it much for year. But, we have a large Spanish population in the area, so this is something that can come in handy.

3. Since I got off schedule, my house hasn't been cleaner every day. I'll continue to work on this.

4. Gave up on this one. Hubby wants to cook, so I'm letting him. What I need to do is work on the dishes. He won't clean up after himself. If I do get a job over the summer, I hope this changes. I won't have the time or the energy.

5. I'm not always getting in my prayer time, so I will continue to work on this.

6. I read David Copperfield! I had thought about starting another book, but have changed my mind. At times, I was reading DC but not reading my Bible. That's not good. So, until I get a good schedule down, I'm not adding any more reading.

For this month, I'm going to add working in my garden and yard when the weather permits. I think I'm going to get the fence up in one section, have it weeded, then start raking the yard and dumping the leaves in the garden in that section to keep it from getting more weeds.

So, how did everyone else make out w/their goals?

Well I am very pleased to say I didn't have any caffeine for 31 days! I kept up walking every day but I abandoned Twilight pretty early on. To say that work was busy would be the understatement of the year and after work, the farm and no caffeine I was in no mood for Bella Swan.
