I used to do the same thing, catch meat on sale and stock up! I also haunted the dead meat counter and picked up good deals. (the markdown expiration counter)

Woot! Way to go on getting things done! I've got to get into more of that again so that I can stock up on things.

I did buy a gallon of strawberries that are sitting in the fridge and MUST be washed, capped and frozen tonight before I lose them!!
