I am transitioning to a new role at the volunteer gig. I have been rocking the Financial Manager role for 4 years now, we've passed every audit with flying colors.
Moving to the administrator role (did it for 2.5 years about a decade ago). We really don't have anyone dedicated to the role, the second in command has been doing it (long story). I've been actually teaching him some things about the role, so he feels confident in my knowledge.
This will be a good thing as he can focus on big picture stuff and not paperwork details
Had a long conversation with the second in command Sunday. Achievements for this fiscal year are not going to be stellar. We have an ambitious plan for 2024-2025, I want to give it a final try
