Day 1 of a week off from work.

1. Dug out the existing water feature in the flower bed next to the patio. Lots of help from the dog and the chickens. :)

2. Moved the chicken run fencing/netting to fresh grass.

3. Cleaned out 1/2 the coop.

4. Did a general once-over through the yard around the coop, cleaning up all the posts, electrical cords, etc from the winter.

5. Started re-organizing in the garage (12 bags of chick feed, getting the grill out, etc)

Breaking for a late lunch now.
6. Took a bed over to a friend of DW, took apart one bed, took apart and moved another bed into that room, and moved the bed from our house into that room. whew....

7. Fresh propane for the grill, T-bones for dinner....

8. Four loads of laundry

9. DW and eldest DD dropped off with the choir on the bus ready for NYC!

Are DW and DD near NYC yet? Blessings toward them!
Thanks!

Dropped them off a bit ago - the buses (3) are supposed to leave shortly at 10. They hit NYC something like at 6 am and sightsee until they can get into the hotels at 4pm.

In addition to everything else I did today was clearing off camera memory sticks and pitching in with all the stuff that goes on with packing. :D

I hope they have a safe trip!!!
Thanks, nothing like a giddy teenager bouncing all the walls getting ready to go. :p

Dad's can be sooooo mean, like not driving up to the speed limit, taking off-the-beaten-path turns on the way to school, you know, the "torture" stuff.... :D
