The owner is a military vet, still in the NG. He is trying to get his business off of the ground. The guy who did our drive is just starting out. They did make some good progress Friday. The test will be as we get some deliveries in the coming weeks.

7 hours of running errands yesterday with the wife, including lunch. Needed to get her out of the house into civilization as well as lessen her anxiety of "running out of things" in the next few months. Pretty much stayed in budget and addressed her concerns, but not how I planned to spend my day.

that's how it can go... just grin and bear it. thinking this too shall pass because there is always something else just right around the corner. you are capable, you can do it, you have before, etc. etc. (sorry that's the extent of my cheer leading and encouragement mojo for the day...).

Had a good two days with the daughters. The SIL stayed at home to watch 2 of the 3 dogs, plus he has cat allergies. We cooked a mini feast and sent leftovers home with them. The clowder was warming up with the dog they brought (old girl who doesn't like my youngest's pup) just in time for everyone to leave.

The girls put up what we hope to be a cat proof tree.
