I'm glad your dad seems to be doing a little better.

Yikes about the chickens! I hope they do ok. I have been so surprised about what chickens can handle if they just have protein and a warm quiet place to heal.

That is so sad about Mamasita. :hit She sure was a very special kitty, I am glad your DD got to take her in.

I have had chickens plucked by our dog too. One was on death's door, but he recovered nicely with much tlc on my part. I kept cleaning him with saline solution. Eventually I took him outside to get some sunshine and greens and excercise. I ended up putting sunblock on him, because he got sunburned the first time :p

My one chicken has a bald spot from where one of my goats grabbed her! And, this was a couple of years ago.

Sorry to hear about your kitty. :hugs We lost our dog in March. She was an old, half blind, arthritic beagle. I let her out to do her business and she wandered over a mile from home to a busy street and got hit.
