Great find on the door!! Glad you are feeling up to getting your projects done. You'll have that list crossed off before you know it.

Yes...dreams! I couldn't get by without them! You forget, FF, those 3 big boys are soon to be gone and I will be doing lonely little projects all by myself! :p Then I will be employing more of Pat's techniques for building project tips for one person! :D

Amen to that! You know that new roost that I put up for my birds? I went out at sundown to watch their progress in getting up on it......found out two things.

Not enough room for all the birds.

Birds were heavier than we thought.

You guessed it.....it broke right in the middle on one side and the chicks came rainin' down! No one got hurt....except my pride! :p :/

Tomorrow is Sunday but we will have to break our rule and fix that roost. I just don't have the right materials to fix it right now, so we will be doing some pretty quick improvising!

I usually use big, thick bean poles scavanged out from under the 75 year old coop..... :D  It usually works too, but I got a little ambitious with the length of the main braces vs. the amount of support provided from underneath.
