It is really hard when you are treating someone who always took care of you like a child. My dad would drive me nuts swearing that he was dying and I had to get there immediately to get him to the er, even though I lived half an hour away. I would rush over(he REFUSED to ride in an ambulance under any circumstances other than unconsiousness) take him to the er just for him to gripe, swear, give the nurses a hard time, and almost every time refuse treatment because he didn't like the way that doctor looked or something and he realized that he wasn't actually dying. He was very vocal about his opinion of the hospital and made sure everyone knew it before we left. :hide He lived off fried chicken and potatoes and would eat it for every meal including breakfast. He and I clashed several times, but he knew that it was rare for me to go against him and that it was always for his own good.

My grandpa was the same way...except for him, it was bacon! ( gotta love a man who loves his bacon) I would make him his bacon and eggs for breakfast, and if I didn't pay close attention, he would wrap bacon in his napkin, and stick it in his shirt pocket..for later! LOL I would sometimes catch him munching on bacon before lunch...and knew...I should have watched closer! Then it was BLT's for lunch....he loved his bacon!!!

Farm It seems you have a lot on your plate. I am sorry to hear about your Dad and his age issues. My Mom is in extreme poor health. Her body is definitely in decline and she is a shut in. Refuses to even go to the doctors. She now has one that does house calls. Such a sad situation but she wouldn't have it any other way.

The sheep sound fun, and I like the idea that if they don't work out they go to freezer camp. I have a dog I don't know what to do with.

I guess I have a couple question I was hoping you could help me with. You teach in Mo. right? I was looking at the Marshfield School District info page today. I guess I can't really make head or tails of the info. I was wondering if you could give me your opinion?

My SIL is a certified teacher but I don't want her to know I am looking. At least not yet.

If you have time. No biggy!

Thanks, gina

Thanks Farm. Just exploring the area. If we make it there next month for a visit I will have to enquire about the schools.

Just thought I would ask.
