Gatorade is nearly pure sugar. Not like EmergenC is perfect either lol. Somewhere around here Freem posted a non sugar recipe for me to restore electrolytes...
I don't think EmergenC was around back then.

I just had a cyst burst also, so painful I actually ended up in hospital cause I thought maybe it was my appendix
my symptoms around the time of the cyst were similar in some aspects but really only after a few days or so all that remained was
some tenderness,

I too have had cysts many times, and also had a fallopian tube burst and nearly bled to death...

that said,

I am wondering if your symptoms could be from something else, (not that I know all about cysts, but I am thinking some of your symptoms could be suggesting something else, but you know your body best of course, I am just wondering out loud here, thinking about how your sypmtoms have out lived mine....)

I know that, or believe a general infection can affect urine color, and of course a bladder infection can darken it, (doesn't have to look bloody) and would cause some of the pain you seem to have

(of course certain foods can change color also) but given that you have pain and interesting stool I would suspect it is something else

can you run a course of cranberry juice just in case it is bladder related, it does actually heal the bladder, so maybe that would help

also can you up your probiotics, (your fermented pickles should help, but might not be enough to tackle this thing)
maybe some yogurts, kefir, kumbucha, real sourkraut...

even olive leaf extract,
might help you out

just some ideas off the top of my head, you probably have thought of these already but just saying just in case

also might be worth looking into raspberry leaf tea, (you can even pick the leaves wild, small tender leaves taste best)

just in case this is hormonal related, cysts and all, ovaries and all, raspberry tea is called the womens herb because it benefits the womens delicate system in numerous ways

just some thoughts, hope you feel better soon

I get these too. Absolutely miserable. I don't get the same symptoms, but mine have put me into the operating room a couple of times.

Agree that you might want to increase your water intake, probably double, until your urine comes out clear. If you don't take a multi-vitamin, please do for a while. An over-50 since they are usually for menopausal women, and should fit your needs. Maybe a little more iron?

Other than that, I'm not sure.

Feel better.

i reread your post, you know it's a cyst I see that now, sorry bout that,

just adding again though, since these are fairly common to you, and you body reacts sort of violently, and since the ovaries have very much to do with hormones, ladies hormones,

I still suspect that a natural way to relieve some of your other symptoms might might be the raspberry leaf tea, also named womens tea,

it just might help smooth out some of the stuff going on inside you....

I guess, and I am wondering, cause it has helped so many of my friends with so many things, a real miracle herb, if I do say so myself

take care:)

I have had my gall bladder and appendix removed. But I cant help but think it was simply a misdiagnosed cyst. I have lyme disease that has damaged many of my organs. So a doc sees injury to the organ he suspects and yank. So I still wonder if i lost organs unecessarily.

For me though, the severity of the pain when a cyst ruptures is brutal. But if it doesnt subside or its unbearable I have gone to doc. And that has resulted in the two surgeries. But it literally was so bad I could not stand up. I was in fetal position and I have a really high pain tolerance. I have had dental work unmedicated cuz I dont care for meds.

Mine flair from over drinking cafeeine and too much stress. If you can remove cafeine and reduce stress it can help. Sounds like you eat and care for your health better than most.

Best of luck. I hope it clears up fast.

Parsley tea is what I make when I have cysts, seems to relax the reproductive organs and help things smooth out. Couldnt hurt to try. I just use a generous handful and steep in boiling water. Add honey if its bitter. I drink it straight. Great for those with periods. Seems to shorten the days of the cycle.
