I bought, and watched the DVD of Food, Inc., and now, every time I drive past those golden arches, I get nauseous. I only wish my 8-yr. old son had the same reaction :/
I have never heard of Dirt, but it sounds like something I could use. Im off to check my PBS listings. Thanks!

Just saw Food Inc for the first time. Wow. Just Wow.

If you say grace, ask for food that is healthy for the planet and you.

And, more than that- MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I just got it from Netflix yesterday. Probably won't be able to view 'til later in the week.

Did you notice on the questions about Moe Parr that the background of the answer was dark and one could not really make out the lettering but all the other answers had a plain background?

If we hear that Salatin was snipered out in one of his fields, we will know where to look for the culprit! :p They seem a little ticked....

The question didn't have any different background from any of the others for me. I did take their survey and I don't think they're going to like my answers - I answered 'other' and explained each one to them, noting I was aware of their 'business practices' long before I saw Food, Inc.

Monsanto appears to be getting defensive. Here's their answers to questions about Food, Inc.:

I thought it was very amusing to see which questions they chose to address at all, versus the ones they did not even MENTION (which tend to be ones for which no sensible answer exists other than 'we want to make lotsa money') :p

Where did Monsatan get that picture of the two farmers in front of the tractor? I think it is staged. When have you EVER seen a farmer wearing a cap without a logo on it???? And two, standing together? Never!

Those answers are writtin in legaleze, and I doubt that anyone who saw Food, Inc, believes the answers. My dad had a neighbor who was put out of business when Monsatan pollen blew into his non-GMO fields.

I sure didn't believe any of their answers
The only answer I believe is: $$$$

I've been into organic gardening and organically grown food for too long, to believe any of their cr@p!!!
I'm a hippy from the 70's and searched out organic food sources when I was in college. I have been involved with several food co-ops in my life, just so I could get good organic whole food.
